Answers to frequently asked questions

Here are answers to a few common questions. If after reading this you still need help please email du@digitalunite.com

Creating an account

We ask you to create an account on Inspire in order to complete the course. To do this, click 'register' in the menu at the top of the page, or by clicking on the menu icon if you're using a mobile or tablet.

You will need your registration code in order to create an account. The person co-ordinating the Inspire programme in your organisation or company will give you the code to use when they invite you to register.

You then need to fill in the registration form. We are only asking you for information that is essential to the Inspire programme. The fields which are mandatory to fill in have an asterisk (*) next to them. Once you've registered you'll be logged in automatically, and you'll also receive an email confirmation that you have an account.

Logging in/out

When you want to log in in future, just come back to the site and click the 'log in' link in the menu at the top of the page, and enter the username and password that you created during registration. If you want to log out of your account, you can do this by going to the 'Account' link in the menu at the top of the page and you'll find the Log Out button. Alternatively you can use the Log Out link in the footer bar of any page.

Forgotten your password?

If you forget your password, don't worry, on the login page there is a link called 'request new password'. Click this and enter your username or email address on the forgotten password form. It will email you a link that will allow you to log in and reset your password. For security, we don't send your actual password via email.

Completing the course

You are asked to complete a learning activity as part of Inspire, which will either be an online course or an in-person or online training session led by your instructor. Your organisation will let you know what type of learning you'll need to do and this will be automatically assigned to you when you register.

The online version of the course has a number of pages of information to read, videos to watch and images to view. During the course you'll also be asked to answer some questions to test your knowledge. We don't fail you if you get things wrong! The questions are designed to help you test your learning. You can travel forwards and backwards in the course, so it's no problem if you'd like to go back and re-read anything.

Making a pledge

Once you've completed your learning, you're asked to make your pledge. You'll be prompted to do this, so when you're ready go through to the pledge form and provide the details about your pledge.

Feedback Form

After you complete your learning, we ask you to complete our Feedback Form. We use the information provided by you to help us understand how well Inspire is working and communicating - it is not a test of your knowledge. We are continually refining and improving Inspire based on this information, so it really is appreciated.

Something is broken!

If you spot a broken link or something isn't working correctly on a page, please tell us about it! Just email us at du@digitalunite.com and we will get back to you with an update. Please just made sure you are NOT using Internet Explorer to run Inspire. As IE is no longer support by Microsoft, it can sometimes cause glitches in website content. If you have an issue and are using IE, please close that and try again using Edge, Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
